Horizontal autoclave
A horizontal autoclave is a pressure vessel designed for sterilization, thermal processing, polymerization, resin curing, and pressure‑ temperature controlled processes across various industries.
In this system, heat and pressure are applied in a controlled manner inside the chamber to ensure that sterilization or chemical reactions are carried out with maximum efficiency, repeatability, and operational safety.
The structure of a horizontal autoclave typically consists of a cylindrical pressure vessel, a quick‑opening bayonet door, a heating system (steam, thermal oil, or electric), pressure and temperature control systems, and venting or vacuum sections.
This type of autoclave is especially suitable for semi‑continuous production lines and high‑volume industrial manufacturing environments.
