Baltimore Cooling Tower Nozzle

The Baltimore Nozzle is a splash type water distribution nozzle designed for use in cooling towers.
Manufactured from durable polymer materials such as PP or ABS, it distributes water uniformly by impacting the incoming flow against an internal deflector surface, improving cooling efficiency and heat transfer.
Its open orifice design provides excellent resistance to clogging, corrosion, and scaling, making it suitable for both open circuit and closed circuit cooling towers, even under industrial operating conditions. Baltimore nozzles are typically threaded nozzles and can be easily installed on 1″ to 2″ water distribution pipes using sealing washers to prevent leakage. Some models are designed for direct push fit installation, secured internally with a gasket. For optimal water coverage, these nozzles are often installed in pairs with calculated spacing across the distribution header.
